Red Screes and Ill Bell (December 2003)

December is a wonderful time to visit the Lake District. Not only is it relatively empty, but when the weather is good (not as rare as you might think) the golden bracken livens up the fells. Like the previous photo, this was taken from Loughrigg Fell while putting out controls for a training session.
