Cairn Toul & Sgor an Lochan Uaine (July 2002)
The Cairngorms are home to many of Scotland's highest mountains, a land of high plateaux edged by deep corries. This picture, looking from the edge of the summit plateau of Braeriach, shows the view across An Garbh Choire to Sgor an Lochan Uaine (1258m), with the higher and bulkier Cairn Toul (1291m) behind. It was taken during a three day tour of the western Cairngorms starting from Glenmore Lodge and returning to Aviemore.
