15th December 2008: Midland Night Champions 2008
The results of the Midland Night Championships held at Rowney Warren in November have been finalised and the list of Champions is published here. Congratulations to all, especially those from East Anglia!
7th December 2008: OCAD Course
This is a one-day course covering the basics of the OCAD map drawing
computer software. The course is aimed at people new to orienteering mapping or at people who
would like to get into mapping. Also it will be useful to planners who may need to use OCAD for
updating maps. This course will not cover the course setting functions of OCAD.
The course will take place on Saturday 10th January 2009 at Weald Country Park, Brentwood. More

6th July 2008: Notice of Regional Annual General Meeting
Please note CHANGE OF VENUE. AGM will be held at High Woods, Colchester starting at 14:00. Please see the Stragglers website for details. The minutes of the 2007 AGM available online. Please notify Keith Downing of any apologies by e-mail beforehand, or at the meeting on the day.
23rd April 2008: EA Schools Championship
The 2008 East Anglian Schools’ Orienteering Championships will take place on Sunday June 15th in Wivenhoe Park, University of Essex, Colchester. We hope to see competitors from as many East Anglian Schools and Youth Groups as possible. More details available here along with an entry form and the rules.
13th January 2008: CompassSport Cup Results
The results for the Cup and Trophy competitions including the scores for each club can be found here. The scores and times for each individual runner are available here. Note that all entries on the day are treated as non-competitive.
Normal OE2003 results and splits are also available with no CSC scoring infomation.
Lost Property: a child's Scooby Doo hat now with Caroline Louth.
